Happy World Circus Day!

Circus has a way of challenging your expectations. That goes for both the audience AND the performers. Those of us who practice circus know too well that feeling when you realize that the path in front of you is not the one you long thought to see ahead. The past month has been an extreme, harrowing embodiment of that truth. Yet onward we go! The shirt I’m wearing here is from Cirque du Soleil. It says “We rise by lifting each other.” To my Circus family, near and far, I love you. I cherish you. Keep doing all the things, and I’ll see you at our home away from home soon ❤️ 🎪
