This week was brutal. Our environments continue to shrink while the demands placed on us continue to grow. That is the essence of crisis. Yet, when I look out the window, I see evidence of spring - the wisdom of nature that says this, too, shall pass.
Often, I’ve wondered if things would really be any better once this pandemic ends. Thankfully, after seven days of going down rabbit holes and back, I have faith that they will. They may not be the same as they were before, and the path ahead of us may not look like the one we thought we’d see, but things will get better as long as we follow my mother’s advice: “Do the best you can with what you have.” Or, if you prefer The Corinthians, “Bloom where you are planted.”
