Punk & Pride

It’s Pride Month. Normally, at this time, I would be at People’s Pride flying high with my Cirque Fam from Iron City Circus Arts. Alas, COVID has made that impossible this year, so creative solutions are in order.

Damn, it’s been a hell of a week! I’m struggling to organize my thoughts over all that’s impacted the LGBTQ community let alone write about it. For now, I offer this salute and promise to my LGBTQ neighbors: while government may send you mixed signals on your civil rights, know that you have this punk’s unequivocal support. As always, stay safe. Stay healthy. Stay proud. Stay loving. And, damn it, VOTE!
